Once you've successfully installed Jetico Central Manager, you're ready to start managing wiping or encryption across your organization. Before you set up your first administrative account let's review how to launch Jetico Central Manager and open the web-based management console.

Jetico Central Manager is controlled via the Jetico Central Manager server monitor app that is added to the Windows Start menu during the installation.

The following controls are available:

The Start Server button will launch the JCM Server engine and activate the "Start Console in a Web Browser" hyperlink. This will also enable connections from other endpoints on the network.

The Start Console in a Web Browser hyperlink will launch the default web browser opening Jetico Central Manager Console.

🗲HINT: To access Jetico Central Manager Console from device other than the one JCM Server is installed on, simply type in the IP address selected during the installation followed by a colon and the port number into the address bar of the web browser on this device, e.g. https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9443

The Stop Server button will stop the JCM Server engine disabling access to the console and making the Server unavailable for external connections, including the client endpoints.

From here you can continue to your first login to the Jetico Central Manager Console
