BCWipeTotal WipeOut Wiping Utility is a wiping tool that runs from the bootable USB / CD created with the BCWipeTotal WipeOut Configuration Wizard and is responsible for erasing the drives connected to the target devices. 


BCWipe Total WipeOut Wiping Utility is an OS-independent tool. It can run on any platform from the BCWipe Total WipeOut Specifications list. 


Newer Apple Macs with T2 and M1 chips however require different approach than the rest of devices. That's why BCWipe Total WipeOut Wiping Utility that can wipe  Apple Macs with T2 and M1 chips must be configured individually using BCWipe Total WipeOut Configuration Wizard for Mac.

For the rest of devices, including x86_x64 BIOS or EFI, Intel-based Macs (pre-2018), 64-bit SPARC and Itanium BCWipe Total WipeOut Wiping Utility is configured individually using BCWipe Total WipeOut Configuration Wizard for Windows.
