To set up and start using BCWipe Total WipeOut Enterprise, you will require the following: 

Windows OS to install BCWipe Total WipeOut Server

  • Windows 7 SP1 or newer: Both 32- and 64-bit server or desktop systems are supported.
  • RAM: 1GB minimum, 4GB recommended.
  • Disk Space: 500MB minimum, 2GB recommended.


Web-browser to access the Management Console

  • Any device including tablets and/or mobile
  • Any OS

SQL Database (optional)

  • For smaller offices and evaluation purposes, BCWipe Total WipeOut Enterprise can run using an embedded Java database (default setting) with no additional actions required.
  • For medium-size and larger organizations, a dedicate database server is recommended to ensure best performance and higher reliability. The following database engines are supported: 

    • MySQL 5.0 or newer.
    • PostgreSQL 9.0 or newer.

DHCP server (optional)

Generally, BCWipe Total WipeOut is delivered to target endpoints with the help of a bootable medium: USB, CD or an EXE file. 


To configure the endpoints in a given network to load the BCWipe Total WipeOut image over PXE, a DHCP server will be required.
