BestCrypt Traveller
Access your encrypted files while using another computer.
BestCrypt TravellerTM allows quick access to encrypted container files created by BestCrypt.
BestCrypt Traveller starts working without installation of the software. After running a single executable file (BCTraveller.exe), a standard BestCrypt icon appears in the Windows system tray from where commands can be run to mount or dismount container files and create new encrypted containers.
BestCrypt Traveller is a freeware utility, meaning it does not require installation, registration or licensing. So, travelling users may download it from any place in the world and access their encrypted data. A single BestCrypt Traveller executable can also be stored on a removable disk together with encrypted containers to access the data on any computer that might be temporarily available during a trip. Please note that the user should have administration privileges to run BestCrypt Traveller software.
BestCrypt Traveller supports containers encrypted by any Encryption Algorithm and any Key Generator available in BestCrypt.
Since the software appears on computer as a guest program, it does not install a number of powerful modules of its big brother - BestCrypt. It concerns Container Guard Utility, Swap File Encryption module, Keyboard Filter, Virtual Drive Network Share Saving, module allowing mounting containers as NTFS folders, BCArchive, BCWipe and Volume Encryption functionality (read more about BestCrypt features here).
BestCrypt Traveller can create new encrypted container files. Since the software is designed as a simple and lite application, its New container dialog window requires the user to enter minimal information to create new container - only name, path and size. BestCrypt Traveller will create new containers using AES (Rijndael) encryption algorithm and KG-Ghost Key Generator.
