BCTextEncoder

Easily encrypt confidential text in your message.

BCTextEncoder^TM utility software simplifies encoding and decoding text data. Plain text data are compressed, encrypted and converted to text format, which can then be easily copied to the clipboard or saved as a text file.

BCTextEncoder uses public key encryption methods as well as password-based encryption. This utility software uses strong and approved symmetric and public key algorithms for data encryption.

In addition to being naturally user-friendly, BCTextEncoder doesn’t even require any installation.

Why BCTextEncoder?

Let's assume you were writing to a colleague using your everyday email application and realized you needed to encrypt part of the message. Provided that all necessary options were already set, you would only have to take four simple steps:

1. Select the secret data and add it to the clipboard with Ctrl-X.
2. Press a predefined hot key to open BCTextEncoder and click Encode.
3. Enter your password.
4. Return to your email and paste the encrypted data from the clipboard with Ctrl-V.

The leading advantage of BCTextEncoder is its support of public key encryption. If you have your recipient’s public key, then just follow these alternate steps:

1. Select the secret data and add it to the clipboard with Ctrl-X.
2. Press a predefined hot key to open BCTextEncoder.
3. Use "Encode by" list box, choose your recipient’s public key and click Encode.
4. Return to your email and paste the encrypted data from the clipboard with Ctrl-V.

If you prefer, other options include writing your message directly into the BCTextEncoder window or loading the text from an existing text file. After encoding the text, it can be sent to your recipient immediately, assuming the corresponding options are enabled. If you encrypted the text with a public key, then the email would be read automatically from the key, so you wouldn’t have to do anything except for confirmation of sending.
