BCWipe Task Manager


The BCWipe system includes BCWipe Task Manager utility. The utility allows user to configure BCWipe to run wiping tasks automatically. You can set a time for running the task, as well as special options for the task. For example, you can configure BCWipe to wipe free space of all your hard drives at midnight every Friday and use US DoD wiping standard for the process.

You can run BCWipe Task Manager from BCWipe program folder. Main window of the programs looks like the following picture:

The picture illustrates 4 tasks that will be run by BCWipe automatically. You can create as many tasks as you wish by running Create New Task command from the Tasks   menu. There are also the following commands in the Tasks   menu:

Start task now. Select some task from the list of tasks and run the command if you wish to run the wiping process right now.

Delete. Use the command to remove selected task from BCWipe Task Manager.

Properties. Run the command to change properties of the selected task, for example, to change schedule for the task or wiping options.
